What Gore?

I think I might go see it again, I know there is a lot I missed and I have a lot of theories of what's going to happen and stuff.

... Yeah, I'm one of those people that gets a little too into it. Spend a lot of time at the houseofjigsaw.com message board, actually got a saw 3 shirt that was one of five made, and I overthink possibilities in these type of movies. I think it's a great movie for people who like to analyze movies.

since no one could answer my questions about this movie that didnt address the details like the earlier movies in the series did....i have a couple more along with it.

what happened to dr. gordon??? we see everyone elses dead body but his? is he just crusing around with one foot or what?

Did Eric Matthews just get left behind after the scuffel with Amanda or did she kill him? he was already walking around with his messed up foot, so what would stop him to do it again besides him getting killed.

What about his son? did he just accept that this guy kidnapped and killed his dad and let it slide and forget about it or what????

What was in that folder that Amanda was reading at the end that sent her into a rage??? had to be a letter explaining something....but what?

What was on the tape that said "play me" that jigsaw melted a bunch of wax on towards the end of the movie?

who was the lady in his flashbacks...his wife? if so, WHO CARES...what did it have to do with the movie? was the director trying to show us that he has a soft side???

i have much more...figured i would only write a couple at a time. this movie was just not nearly as good as the first two...to many thing unexplained. saw 4 should be forgotten and put on the back shelf so we dont have to go through this nonsense all over again.

p.s. all around i really didnt think the movie was that bad, but i think dre put it the best "if it didnt have saw in the title, it wouldnt of been that bad." meaning that if it wasnt a saw we wouldnt compare it to the first two and it would be a pretty good movie, but compared to the first two, it is for sure the worst of the series.

First off, I've made a "general questions/thoughts" thread on the HOJ forums that pretty much restates what's said here, but also other fun things to think about. I wrote it right after I saw Saw III. Here's a link:

This is something that will probably be left for Saw IV, or it will be like another doctor gordon type thing where we always try and figure out what happened, but it's a dead issue. (Cary Elwes sued Lionsgate for something two years ago, so I doubt we'll be seeing what happened.) Sure, it did show "Dr. Gordon" laying on the ground in the flashback of Saw III, but that's why we didn't see his face. I'm curious to see what's up with Matthews, because Jigsaw said he "cleaned up Amanda's mistake." Always gotta listen to what John says carefully. Also, didn't Amanda kick the opposite foot that he had just smashed off? It looked like when she kicked it, he had all his weight on it. Otherwise, it wouldn't have broke back like it did.

The Lady in his flashback is his girlfriend that left him because he would not commit (It's in the saw comic "Saw Rebirth."). As far as "who cares, what did it have to do with the movie." ... look again at the person in the background that passes them. Yes indeed, that sure is Obi, as you all know, is from the second saw movie.

No one really will know for sure, unless there's a fourth saw (which they quoted if this movie does well, there will be a fourth one.) Some theories upon it have been that it is the tape that jeff would find if Lynn lost the game. Lynn won, so he didn't need that tape anymore.

that huge article i posted on the first page of this thread had some insight to those questions if you guys read it.

about the guy with one foot & why we never saw his body... hes dead. it was assumed after the first film. the director said that himself in an interview before Saw II was released.

Saw III is supposed to show Jigsaw cracking. It is supposed to show a softer side of Jigsaw & a father/daughter bond between him & Amanda. its more of an emotional film this time then a all out chaotic mindf__k the last two were. completely different direction.
