Total Entries: 105
2. Please do not count on a paddock being available at any center this year.
3. The Women's JV center (TBK Sports Complex/High 5 Lanes) has asked that there be ZERO carry in food or drink items of ANY kind. They are supposed to have items that many teams typically carry into the bowling center. The GM has said that he will ask coaches, team members and/or parents to remove such items from the bowling center.
None of the other centers have asked for the same, but I will at least ask that no one brings in restaurant food to any of the centers. Please be respectful of the businesses that we are going into. Covid has hit some of them harder than others.
4. Please remember the center changes for the varsity division. The schedule has remained with the center, not the division. If you need to recall what the new schedule is, please visit Schedule tab on the Leatherneck Classic website.
5. Speaking of the website please post on your social media and let your parents know that they will be able to find updated team standings throughout the day on the website and our Leatherneck Classic facebook page. Please share both on your social media sites. There will likely be a delay getting the first set of results updated as the first time typically takes a little longer. And if there's internet issues, that may cause a delay as well.
6. Also, please share schedule information and center information with your parents. I have had several questions through email and Facebook asking about the schedule, location and hotel information. Please share this information with your parents.
7. Finally, here's the long awaited pattern information for this weekend:
Varsity and JV Men
Length: 42 feet
Volume: 32.6mL
Ratio: 2.16:1
Varsity and JV Women
Length: 42 feet
Volume: 27.95mL
Ratio: 2.32:1
A printed copy of the pattern will be placed in each folder, which you will receive upon check in. There will also be a color copy in each tournament office.

IMPORTANT UPDATES REGARDING ARSENALS AND BALL CARDS FOR SINGLES AND TEAM SECTIONALS (announced 3/7 at 4 pm)
Purple Hammers with serial numbers beginning with the number 6 or the number 7 WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN COMPETITION.
As a result, players bowling singles or team will need to put the FIRST SIX DIGITS of all of their serial numbers down on the ball cards (instead of last four). Expect random ball checks.
Other Important Info:
NO LADDERS OR CHAIRS WILL BE ALLOWED DUE TO FIRE CODE.
Can live stream on pairs not already being streamed by bowltv.
NO SURFACE ADJUSTMENTS DURING PRACTICE OR COMPETITION.
ONLY PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN SETTEE AREA DURING SINGLES AND ONLY PLAYERS AND COACHES DURING TEAM.
Can only use alcohol or a dry towel on ball surface during practice and competition. Rosin balls CANNOT touch ball surfaces, so be aware of placement if using one. (you can't just throw it between balls on the ball return)
BALLS MUST REMAIN IN PADDOCK OVERNIGHT FOR TEAM. Paddock will be open on Friday if those bowling singles and team want to store Friday night.
No electronic device use in settee area during practice/competition. (for instance, you can't wear ear buds while bowling)
Each team in Smyrna will be "adopted" by a local youth bowler from the area, so there will be some additional activities associated with that.
If you haven't submitted a USBC Waiver, please do so ASAP. The link is posted on this site in a previous thread.
Thank you.
