Did a little number crunching.  As you can see, our team average is 7.5 pins lower in baker and diff is 6.7 lower.   These are just A team states.   I put last years rankings up here and you can see it's been a two year trend, even though we've lost 4 players and 3 starters off that team.  Last years team had an issue with the 5 hole.  It seemed we tried someone different every week.  I don't see that on this team, the issue is more team wide.

From what I see on the A team is we throw a lot of opens.  Some are missed makeables, but most are just poor first shots that lead to an open.  Phil's stats for the women, he puts a high value on spare shooting and filled frames, and this year's womens team have seemed to improve their standings in most tournaments in baker. 

Another issue I see is we make poor in-game adjustments.  Seldom do we throw two strikes in a game; we start strong then finish poor or start poor and finish strong.   Effort and enthusiasm is not an issue.  If anything, maybe we are too excited and miss the transition.
