OMG!!! I can't believe you guys! Yeah, I knew it was only a matter of time until I started getting crap for that, but hey, that's a scarifice that I am willing to make. They are all awesome, and it's not my fault that we all have fun together. And yeah, you're right, GO PURDUE!

I think Purdue is enrolling for the Spring Semester right about now.
And yes guys good bowling, I wish I could have been fortunate enough to watch instead of crapping all over the alleys. When I did get a break I was there to root for my team. Glad one of our teams got a victory at our home tournament.
Lizzy - I think they are enrolling, but even if I do transfer, I wouldn't be eligible to bowl, so that is a no go. Besides, I talk to them all of the time, and I can go up and visit, which I have done.
Believe it or not, I really didn't get to see them all that much at the bowling alley, it was in between the regular games and the finals, and after the tournament. I was there for the Lions more than I was for Purdue. Like I said before, we all get along and have a great time together. It's just like any of you having friends on another team. I just talk to them frequently and see them at tournaments too.
I know that the talk about me and Purdue won't stop, and that is fine, but I just want you all to know that you guys are still my #1 team/school to cheer for. They are just adopted.

I think we all understand the idea of having friends on another team. I've got friends on Pikeville's and Wichita's girls teams. But I don't know if I would be cheering for them right behind our girls team(s), especially if they weren't getting very good breaks and not bowling well. You can cheer for them all you want when we are kicking their (Politically Correct) butts at sectionals and Nationals(if they make it)
I have made some friends too through this sport....omg....I could go to Fresno, Wichita, McKendree, Illinois, Western...so many options of friends I could be rooting for when I'm not wearing their jersey. teehee
maybe the rest of us have a different mentality than you, but as far as im concerned, having friends on other teams doesnt mean i'll openly cheer for them in front of my own team and then ask for ::cough::help::cough:: from a coach on a different team.
honestly, that's a pretty shi77y thing to do.

I was going to avoid posting anything since I was not there, but Halwe told me what happened and reading it on here I feel I can say something. I have friends on other teams as well. In fact Saturday during the morning shift I was helping the Louisiana Tech team.....I do have a reason behind it though. I may be trying to land a coaching position with them after graduation. Since St. Louis is the only chance I get to see them I figured I should take advantage of the opportunity and try to get to know the girls on the team now just in case I do decide to pursue that. As most of you know though, I was right there watching our guys in the afternoon.
I also tried to make it to our teams in the morning shift when I got the chance.....In closing, there's nothing wrong with having friends at other schools....in fact I would think most of us do. But to cheer for them when they are bowling against your own school....well.....honestly.....that's pretty low. Doesn't make someone who does that a bad person....just means they suffered from a severe lack of judgment. I hope that's all it is.
