If you are signed up for singles, your packet from USBC-Collegiate was sent to the address you have on file for your sanctioning (home address usually), whether it was done through college bowling or not. For those that did not bowl collegiately this year, you do not currently have a college bowling sanction. Your entry to singles was paid by the school, but there is still a $25 participation fee that will have to be paid since this is a college event.
Everyone is signed up to bowl in Fairview Heights, Illinois. I'm moving those that are going to Allentown, PA to that Sectional.
If you would like to bowl at a different sectional sight than Fairview Heights, please let me know ASAP so I can get you moved. There is a limited number of people that they will allow at each sectional, so if you wait until the last minute to move, there may not be room.
If you are registered for singles, I will have an excuse note available for you at practice Monday through Wednesday this week. If you can't make it for some reason (and I understand that things happen), you must notify me PRIOR to competition starting via text, e-mail or post on this forum so that I can inform the sectional director that you won't be there. Failure to do so means you owe the $50 since there are no refunds.
Also, if you are unable to make it for competition, the excuse note no longer gets you out of class. In other words, you can't use singles to miss class unless you actually bowl.
Let me know what questions you might have. Bowl well!
