Hey Phil. I don't know about everyone else, but that link takes me to a Microsoft "Outlook Web App" page asking me for a user name and a password...

Here is what is says about LU....

And just where in the heck is Lindenwood University?

Not only did their women's bowling team win the Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic last month, but also current and alumni members of their men's team established a new USBC five-man game record Nov. 30 of 1,434 at Harvest Lanes in St. Peters, Mo.

Lindenwood University is located in St. Charles, Mo., and given the online testimony of several of their students the school seems to be a place where the professors really care about their students. Lindenwood also boasts the 2005 men's collegiate bowling champs and the 2006 women's collegiate champs.

Its current men's team roster includes two guys from England, which I think is sort of weird.

The new USBC record holders are Lindenwood grads E.J. Parks and Ryan Council, plus current schoolmates Connor Druhm, Eddie Cetwinski and Brad Miller. And just how did they get to 1,434?

Start with 17 in a row. Nine-spare. Another 17 in a row. Two nine-spares. Thirteen in a row. Nine-count on a fill ball in the 12th. Eight in a row. Eight-count to end the night. 279-278-279-300-298.

Nothing to it. 55 strikes out of 60 balls.

So here's the weird thing. The previous record of 1,413 was set Feb. 15, 2001, at St. Charles Lanes just six miles away. And the third bowler on the previous record-holding team? Why, it was none other than current Lindenwood bowling coach Randy Lightfoot who also is a three-time winner on the Professional Bowlers Association tour and former ABC Masters winner.

Would somebody please check the lane conditions down there?

Yeah!  What about the Colombians and Puerto Ricans?

What about the Rockfordians or Taylorvilleians?

Glad to see after some time that Lindenwood is starting to get some recognition somewhere. Congrats guys on the team record and the women on winning the Southern Classic, both feats in which you all should be proud of.
