Teams will follow the lane schedule for lane assignments each game.

If there is a tie at the completion of the baker round for the final advancing spot, then the teams that are tied will bowl 1 baker game to decide who advances on.  If any of the advancing teams are tied after the baker round, the team with the highest baker round total will receive the higher seed.  If there is a tie after the three games in the match play, a fourth game will bowled to determine the team that advances on or wins.

We're currently scheduled to leave at 3pm, but because of the early start on Saturday morning, I'm going to try to set us up to leave earlier, hopefully by 2pm.  Stay tuned.

LANE PATTERN

This year we are going to use the 2011 ITC pattern.  The women will have no changes to the pattern since they are on wood, and it held up pretty well at the Warhawk (or so I was told).  For the men though, you will be bowling on older AMF HPL's (the manager couldn't remember when they were installed, all she knew is it was before the 1999 WIBC nationals there).  And we all know that AMF lanes have a tendency to be a little more "forgiving".  So with that said, I have asked the center to keep the pattern the same, just shorten the buff from 40 feet to 38 feet.  I have talked with a few people about this and they think it "should" help to prolong the inevitable lofting of the gutter caps.  The head mechanic, who will be putting the pattern in their lane machine, was not in today since he will be working this weekend.  The manager didn't think it should be an issue, but then again, she isn't a bowler.  So the head mechanic is supposed to call me tomorrow if he has any concerns regarding this change to the pattern.  Here is a link to the 2011 ITC pattern as graphed by USBC:

One of my coaches back home in NY whose good friends with my Uncle is originally from IL and says that the Miller Time Bowl flies and that balls that tend to go into more of a roll over a hook seem to carry and score much higher. Just a tip of advice.... take it if you'd like.
