I'm still working at my bowling alley...only i got promoted...i'm basically an assistant manager now...i get to do my old job, but then also some new paper work and have taken on other responsibilities...
Next...I interviewed at St. Clare's (The major hospital system here) Behavioral Health Center last week. I was offered a per diem position for now, with potential to become more in the future. The two people that interviewed me agreed that they feel i have great potential and would be a good person to have around there. I am going to sit in on a session tomorrow to see if thats where i want to be. if it isn't, they'll help me find what i'm looking for in their system. They're going to train me (i'll get paid for training) in everything that I'll need to know to to the job, and in essence, I'll end up being a counselor, and pretty much do as much with my BS in Psych that I can possibly do at this job. Also, this job will fit around my bowling alley job.
Lastly, I took my GRE on tuesday...I didn't do as bad as I thought i would do. I looked online (gre.org) to see what kinds of scores are good. I found a breakdown by college major. In the verbal section, i did a little lower than an average psych major, however, on the math, i did a little over average for a psych major. I will receive my full results along with my essay scores in 2 to 3 weeks.
That's the lo down as to what i've been up to lately....oh and of course..i'm bowling...i have 3 leagues i'm doing.....monday, tuesday, and friday nights.
Hey "Timmaaaayyy!!!!"... I still plan on moving up to South Hackensack, NJ in the next year so keep your options open.
