Lindenwood Football player nominated for AFCA Good Works Team-needs votes

Lindenwood football player Billy Clark received a prestigious honor on Tuesday when he was named to the 2010 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. He is one of just 22 players in all of college football to receive this honor.

 

One of the many charitable contributions that Clark made last year was creating the on-campus fundraiser program called Lions Take a Bite out of Cancer to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. The program was inspired after witnessing a Lindenwood student and football player undergo cancer treatment.

 

All 22 players honored are now entered into an internet fan voting to name a Team Captain for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
