The annual student-athlete orientation meeting is at 8pm, Tuesday, August 24th in the Performance Arena (where the basketball court is). This is the meeting where you get your student-athlete handbook from LU and sign off on the Champions of Character form that enables you to be eligible for potential athletic awards at the end of the season. So, it's pretty important.
Please arrive between 7:45p and 8:00p. It'll take about 45 minutes total.
This meeting is separate from our Organizational Meeting on Monday.
You'll have to miss the meeting, but still get the information later.
I actually need someone that is going to attend to serve as a "bowling representative" and help hand out materials to our group. If that person can also get some extra copies of the handbook and Champions of Character form, we can get it all knocked out earlier this year.
I went to the meeting and right when I walked in a guy handed me a bunch of Student-Athlete Acknowledgement Forms, and Student Athlete Handbooks for every bowler! I will bring them to practice on Thursday! if you need them any sooner let me know!! :)
