I'm bowling on the 13th of august. we have a couple of spots left if any of you crazy kids wanna come out and try this wonderful tournament out! just get a hold of me

I've gone up there the last several years with a group I know from Springfield, MO the last weekend in August...this year it would be the 27th...

What time is your squad on the 13th? How many spots do you have left? I might be interested in moving up a couple weekends depending on when school starts back up for the fall semester (when is that by the way?).

I would encourage anyone to bowl the Petersen if you haven't before. It makes you appreciate ANYTHING else you bowl on the rest of the year!

While I'm talking tournaments...I'll probably go over to Kansas City the weekend of August 6-7 to bowl the "Big Guy, Little Guy" Junior-Adult tournament at NKC Pro Bowl (at least that how I know the place). It's a nice warm up for me (since I usually take a bit of a break from bowling over the summer) and it's a really CHEAP entry fee (like $25). You're guaranteed to bowl 10 games on Saturday and the top 10 in each division are paired up with a Junior/Adult partner for more games ending in a step-ladder final on Sunday. No prizes (except plaques) for Adults, but I think there's some scholarship $ for juniors. Like I said, I bowl it b/c of the cheap entry fee and the timing for the start of fall leagues, etc, and b/c I have relatives in the area.

If anyone would like to join me, let me know. We have until mid-July to get entered if I recall.

I'm going to check and see if my tues is over by then so I can move up to adult and if it is I want to bowl!

our squad is at 11 on the 13th of august. My dad is taking money up front its $80 and that way he doesnt get screwed! if anyone wants to just give me a call or email me @ scandalous0501@yahoo.com and i will let my dad know.

i think he has 15 spots left but im not sure so hurry up and get a spot lol.

Phil and others, it was an interesting tourney. I was clean the first game on 15-16 and shot 193. It was my best game. 1-2 were the reverse of every other year, 1 was slicker than 2. 3-4 were playable for me. high game of the year so far is 224, i had a pop at it until i left a split in the ninth, shot 196 (i am still more proud of the clean game tho). 3 was SCREAMING and i picked a ten pin on it. the rest of the lanes seemed to alternate which one hooked and which did not. I finaly found a good way to play em by the last two games. i sorta caught the ball with my fingers at the bottom of my swing. on the dry lanes it kept me from flying away, the other held pocket. Good luck to all, i shot 1290-1300 or so
