I just want to start off by saying how proud I am of each and every one of the girls. We came together as one team and did it for us. We fought so hard, missed some transitions here and there but fought our way back in and got things in line. I have never been so impressed with girls coming off the bench and making shots when it counted and was needed. Never would i have thought we would be going off to Nationals with three freshman on the team and exceeding at such great lengths. What we did this weekend was quite unimaginable to most people and half the time even our own team members. But when we are doubted it makes us fight even harder. The harsh words and negative comments shot at us by UCF was unbelievable and so unsportsman like. Yes they have 4 all- americans and a nationals MVP who didnt deserve it but you know something, when it comes down to facing us in match play they just can't handle it and haven't been able to all year. We are their COMPETITION!! Everyone just has to believe, I know I sure did =)
Corina- you were u're own kind of rock star this weekend. You did what you had to do in those 10th frames to keep us alive or make that other team fight even harder if thats wut it came down to. You did not get the recognition that you deserved in any means. Whether people are friends with Brigette or not- you out bowled/shined her in every sense and step of the way this past weekend. Yourself or Rocio should be the ones who earned that MVP title and you most certainly deserved a spot on that all tournament team. I am so proud of you and happy to say that you are my friend and teamate. The work you have put in this year and coaching from Rich has by far paid off and you have so much more to look forward to you time left here at Lindenwood.
Donahue- I honestly can't thank you enough for changing your shifts at work to come and watch us for the first and final time this year. For one it ment a lot to me to have you there again, but i think it ment a lot to all of us in some way. You helped a ton and were able to catch and see things some of us may not have or especially quick enough. I know you helped myself a great deal and i couldn't thank you enough for all the support and help. I love ya 2 pieces girlfriend
The Fans- WoW...I don't believe we have got that much support in the two years that I have been here. Even though people doubted us from the beginning you guys came and supported us and rooted us on till the end. It was great to have you all behind us, pushing us for greater. Thank you so much for everything and downgrading them UCF fans a little haha that crap was annoying!!
....It was a bitter sweet ending to my collegiate bowling career and I couldn't ask for much more. Thank you all for being apart of it and I wish you all the best of luck in the years to come and for even bigger and better!! Can't wait for next season to kick back and just get to watch n help out even though it'll prob be quite tough to not be able to get up on those lanes and throw a ball....AMAZING JOB LADIES!!!! Keep your heads held high cuz there is nothing to be sad or ashamed about, we bowled are hardest and it was darn good!!....
heather this is a great piece of thread and i agree 100% on so much u said here.. to many people were thinking that we were done and thats when bam we came back.. i know that no one on this team is embarassed about a 2nd place finish.. and thank you everyone there.. you all are amazings and part of our cup belongs to yall for helping us so much.. and ladies bowling were all rock stars but damn corina bowled awesome and it totally sucks that she didnt get what she deserved..
Dana and I were tlaking tonight about next year and plans for next year and i just keep getting chills of excitement.. this year makes me ready for it all!
This year has been an amazingg season and a great way to start my college bowling career. Nationals was the best experience i have ever been involved in. Im glad I was apart of the excitement. Especially when I brought us back into the match by picking up that split :D It felt amazing my heart was racing ha. Thast just an example of why you never give up. we just proved a bunch of people wrong. Im even more excited about next year to bowl with all you girls!!
BOOM! BOOM! FIREPOWER!!!!!!

Thank you Heather for saying that, I appreciate it and it really does mean a lot to me. I had one of the best times of my life out there and I will never forget it. I also agree with a lot of what you said, it was well put. It was really nice to have the fans give us that much support. Glad I got to experience it with you all.
I just wanna say thanks to everyone who supported us throughout the whole year as well as nationals.. we couldn't have done it without the support... this season flew by and i still can't believe its over and we walked away with a 2nd place cup... we proved a lot of people wrong and showed them what we're made of.. maybe next year people will take us a little more seriously.. well put heather.. we bowled amazing, corina bowled amazing, and jen's help was truly appreciated.. next year's gonna be great, but weird all at the same time.. heather, i dunno what im gonna do without you and all your sarcastic comments out on the lanes.. and mel, i dunno who i'm gonna get to pick up the 3-10 for me lol.. thanks for everything ladies... i'm hoping the slideshow next week will be great and everyone will enjoy it.. i did my best to try and show our fun and amazing season :)
