It was interesting to see how the points were tabulated after last tournament. Even thought we were consider the power points winning, William Paterson and Fresno got more points than us. The reason was we reached our max of 10 tournaments and they took an average of the ten. Because of that Willy P slipped aroung us by 15 points.
I think Whichita clearly had the best season, but only getting 30 points for the McKendree Challenge cost us 2nd. We got a -180 power points for that week.
On the womens side, it's tough to argue with WSU, CFU, and Pikeville, though a higher qualify finish at Indy would have past Pikeville. What I found interesting is that Central Fl only bowled 7 tournaments total. I would guess that is because of their location and financial issues. One or two more tournaments with a good finish and they would easily be the top team...
BTW, I noticed that Penn St-Berks/Lehigh didn't turn the eligibility forms in on time. I wonder if USBC will go retro and make us the winner of the Bearcat? MoBap is also on that list. Again.

Just got of the phone with Chris at USBC. The sectional ceding will be out when they clear up a few issues (cough..MoBap..cough). She says that it will probably be tomorrow.
BTW, Berks/Lehigh is good to go. They got their paper work done.
...And, yes, I did mention that our school would travel if we had too, for those of you who have a preference of sectional destinations...
