I know what you're talking about.  The internet connection here sucks...sometimes it's okay, but it's like night and day.  You never really know what you're going to get.  You'd think they'd be able to fix that or something...dispite the fact that they knew how many more people were going to be using it this semester...they probably never made preperations to be able to support it.....someone needs to go over there and set them straight ...

even when you're on, you're not necessarily on. I seem to sign on and off about every 10 minutes, but if I am able to stay on for like half an hour, then I go and try to talk to someone, it doesn't let me. Not everyone who is on even shows up on my list anymore.

I wish we had the dial-up we have back home.

OR, you could just send an introductory IM that includes your name.
