I wouldn't take any of this on face value.  The theorem is low because I include washouts and the scorekeepers didn't mark them.  Still, 80% single pin spares, not good.

However, I did want to say I'm still proud of the way the team battle.  As hideous of a spare weekend we had, we shouldn't have had any business being that close.  I'm guessing our strike rate was pretty high for the tournament.  We had a strike rate of 48% in 2015, and had about the same score as Calumet did this year.  We fought until the last shot of the tournament. You guys showed a lot of heart, it was like we lost the coin flip, it was that close.  I think you should remember that when you think about 2016-17 season.

And heed your coaches warnings about shooting spares.
