Four sectional singles qualifiers will be held March 8 with the top four men and top four women at each site plus eight mens wildcards advancing to the national tournament, where the semifinals and finals will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
The womens Intercollegiate Singles champion will receive a free entry into the USBC Queens and the mens champion earns a free entry into the USBC Masters. The location for the sectionals:
Smyrna Bowl, Smyrna, Tenn.
AMF Parkway Lanes, Allentown, Pa.
St. Clair Bowl, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Texas Station, Las Vegas
The school has paid for your entry to this tournament in the past. You can bowl at any one of the four sites, but you're probably going to be responsible for transportation there and back.
If you would like to bowl, I need to know by no later than Tuesday, January 15th in order to submit the request to the school. Please note your interest on the forum or to me directly via e-mail. You are able to compete in the qualifier a total of four years, whether you're on our formal travel roster or not, but you must be eligible in order for the school to pay your entry and you must pass USBC eligibility standards in order to advance to the national tournament.
Thank you!

*There comes a moment when it's more than just a game, and you either take that step forward or turn around and walk away. I could quit, but here's the thing...I love the playing field.*
I should clarify...bowling in the ISC is completely separate from team competition and eligibility. You can bowl the ISC qualifier a total of four years while in school, but it does NOT count as using a year of eligibility for the team. So, once again, you can bowl the ISC qualifier whether you're on the formal travel roster or not and it won't affect the number of years you're eligible to bowl team tournaments.
If you are signed up for singles, but are NOT wanting to bowl at this point, please let me know ASAP! I inadvertently left someone off the list I sent to USBC and the Fairview Heights location is sold out of guy's spots, so if we have someone that isn't planning to bowl, I can swap spots.
If you have not received a copy of the confirmation packet you can download it at bowl.com/iss under the information tab. Please make sure to fill out a ball card and bring it with you.
If you have any questions, please contact the USBC Collegiate Office at (800) 514-2695 Ext. 8979 or by e-mail at gbrown@ibcyouth.com. Good luck at the xbowling Intercollegiate Singles Qualifying Tournament!
