One of our 6th grade math teachers will be going on maternity leave in about a month and we are looking for a certified teacher or almost certified to fill the position. Thank you for your assistance. I have been getting emails from your students already. If you wouldn't mind, we are also trying to find some quality substitutes for our math classes for shorter, one-2 day absences. I know that education majors in the last year or two of their program often have days where they don't have classes. We were thinking these students might want to "get their feet wet" by subbing in a classroom where they might want to teach. It could also give them a chance to establish some contacts within our district that could aid in their future job search. If you have any way of passing that information along to your students as well, that would be terrific. Thanks again for your help.
