We got 5 guys on the ballot. That's the most I ever remember. (To get on the ballot, I think you have to have won a tournament, made an all-tourney team in a tier one, or be in the top 25 in ave or diff. There are other ways of getting on the ballot, like high ave in conference, but that doesn't apply to us)
I think Miller looks like a 1st teamer, but not a lock. All depends on how the coaches look at the East Coast guys; plus he's got Young, Geering and Rangel right behind him. Everybody loves Wichita and the West Coast Coaches vote in a block. Rangel has the more wins and teams, but I think his 1st team chances bit the dust with sectionals.
Lemon is 50-50 on 2nd team, I think you'll leap frog Scuds and the Jr college guy, but Wilkins, Berndt and Foote lurking behind you. It's a toss up on the 2nd team, but pretty confident you'll make honorable mention.
Jeremy has a chance, but its outside. Just to many to jump and Diaz and Katic might get a little more recognized.
Still, it's our best year for candidates. Nice bowling, guys

BTW, I thought Mark Van Wyk and JJ Mastny deserved to be nominated. Mark chances probably were shot down with them finishing 5th in sectionals. JJ won COY for the women last year, but this year he mostly was on the Men's side. Midland went from 47th last year to 6th this year, won a tier one and qualified for Nationals. Maybe they consider him more a Women's coach, but it's weird that some coach from Midland wasn't nominated.
