Two representatives from Brunswick will be at St. Charles Lanes on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 to conduct a "Demo Day" for the Lindenwood bowling program.
There will be two sessions available.
2p-4p (12 lanes)
4p-6p (8 lanes)
At the beginning of each session, there will be a 20-30 minute presentation/discussion about ball layouts and surface, followed by the opportunity to actually throw equipment on a sport shot for about 90 minutes.
We can accommodate quite a few for the discussion, but only about 20-25 per session for actual bowling, maybe more for the early session since we have more lanes available.
I'll create a sign-up sheet that will be available at tryouts Saturday and at our practices the following week. Please only sign up for one and those that can attend the early session, please do so to allow more room at the later session. For instance, if you have a 1p-215p class, you can sign up for the early session to bowl and then catch the presentation at the start of the late session.
Everyone who has won a ball in tryouts should attend this.
This gives you a chance to experiment with shells and layouts before you drill your new equipment. If you find a ball than you order, we can try to exchange that with Gran Prix.

As of 115p on Friday, September 16th, there are only a few spots left for the 4-6p session to actually bowl. The 2-4p session has plenty of spots remaining.
We can accommodate as many as possible for the "presentation" at the beginning of each session. There's just a limit to the number of people that can actually bowl due to lane availability.
Still have plenty of room in the 2-4p session. Only 3 spots left for the 4-6p session.
If you have a class that gets out at 215p, you may arrive late for the 2p session and participate in the demo portion of the event, then stay to hear the layout/surface presentation at the beginning of the 4p session.
At last count, we had about 40 people signed up out of the 73 that tried out. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn how to make this stuff tick!
