Most of this is based on when lanes are available at the bowling center.
I realize that some of your schedules this fall were put together with different expectations, so I knew there would be some conflicts. We'll chat, Ally.
I don't understand why some days are divided up by where you are in the standings. We're a whole team...shouldn't we practice that way? And does this mean that the way we finish in tryouts is basically our position on the team all year?

We ARE a whole team. It doesn't say that ONLY a particular group can practice. It just means the focus at certain practices will be on a particular group (like we did on Monday's last year). Some of it is because we have a limited number of lanes; on Tuesday afternoon for the guy's practice for instance. If 40 guys show up on 8 lanes, not much productive will get done.
No, the tryout finish will not determine positioning for the whole year.
As happened last year, this is a starting point and things can and most likely will be adjusted a bit as we move forward.
I have to agree with everyone else. I set my schedule for the year around the practice schedule. With this schedule I won't be at any of the practices....
Why can't we keep our Thursday practice the way it is right now, where we all practice at night? It's honestly so much more convenient.

I like the new schedule.. because thursday night isnt so convenient for me because i work at 6am the next morning and i dont like getting only 5 hours of sleep haha.. but maybe you could add some lanes for the girls thursday night too for the ones who do like it?? I think it would be better that way honestly to leave more options! Just a thought :)
Yeah I agree. I think that's a good compromise. Even if it's just like 4 lanes, it'd be nice to have that added practice time.

I knew there would be some conflicts with this new schedule since it wasn't what everyone expected, but with the number of leagues at St. Charles Lanes, options at night are now extremely limited. It's MUCH easier to get lanes in the afternoon at this point and moving forward. Those with specific conflicts, let's chat and we'll figure something out.
Otherwise, I have been able to add some extra lanes Thursday night for ladies that can't practice at the other times.
