This was our practice schedule last season from January, 2011 to the end of the spring semester:
Monday 5:00 pm to 8:00 (women mandatory, Phil will be there at 6:30)
Tuesday 5:00 pm to 7:00
Wednesday 5:00 pm to 8:00
Thursday 10:30 to 12:00
Fridays 5:00 pm to 8:00 (non-tourney weekends)
I anticipate that we will start the season with something similar, but much will depend on lane availability once leagues begin this fall at St. Charles Lanes.I would like to move in the direction of having practices start earlier in the afternoon and eventually get rid of any official late night stuff.The Thursday night practice used to be mandatory for women, but I doubt Ill be available at that time of night anymore, so I will try to create another time slot on Thursday afternoon/early evening most likely.Ill be able to get to the Monday practice earlier and will look to start it around 4:30p for half the ladies with the other half starting at 6p or 6:30p.
I realize that some schedules (both class and jobs/work and learn) were created with a different idea in mind, so well do our best to be flexible, especially in the fall.Well have a much better idea about lane availability by late August, so expect future updates and a more concrete practice schedule posted on the forum.
A doubles tournament sometime at one of the practices? each doubles team has to have one guy, one girl, all random drawing? winners get a ball, or whatever was done last year.

I'm having the athletic training department put a weekly training program together. Targeting Wednesday late afternoon/early evening.

Loveeee this idea! I've been hoping we would do something like this! But, any chance of us doing this on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Fridays? I'm in class Wednesdays from 5:30-10:00 p.m :( :(

Looking to have one main session per week on Wednesdays, but a written program would be available to be done on your own each week. We'll start out small and go from there.
Probably won't get rolling 100% until after try-outs.
Initial work-out time has been established from 530-630p each Wednesday beginning August 31st. We can't have everyone in our program there at once, so expect a list of those expected to be there initially and we'll perhaps expand things as we get a better feel for how it will all work.
