Phil Vida as of July !st will have a full-time position at Lindenwood as Sports Information Director as well as Bowling HC.
This means that if the University doesn't over-load him at his SID position, he will have more time on campus, more time coaching at the bowling center and more time recruiting.
IMHO, this could be the beginning of the next step of our program's progression. From one of the top 5-10 programs to the elite of coaching bowling.
These next couple of years at Lindenwood could be very exciting times...

Congrats! This will certainly vault our program to new heights in the future. As far as I know Wichita is the only other program that has a full time or paid coaching staff.
BTW as your first duty you should talk to me about that one deal we discussed couple months ago. I am officially the United States rep and will be handlign that business.
Congrats Phil... Awesome. Great move by the University, which also means their keeping the team among the varisty sports I hope. Now, are you the SID for the school??? If so, that is beyond sweet. Extra coverage. I'm putting my bid in early for a job lol. Congrats again Phil.

Thanks everyone. E, I'll be the SID for the school handling the Student Life Sports. Yes, bowling is still a varsity sport as are all the Student Life Sports. It's just defined differently to differentiate from the sports going NCAA Division 2.

On the guys side that's true. On the girls side, there are quite a few full-time coaches.
