Where do we want to go for Sectionals?

Rankings are in
Chicas 3rd
Male counter parts 5th

Guess the Sectional site;
Allentown
Dallas
Peoria
Chattanooga

I'm saying we'll be in Peoria.
Weber to chat
Wichita to Dallas (everyone wants to go there)
Robert Morris to PA

Predictions?

well us girls want PA but that's probably not going to happen at all... i'm gonna guess TN... That'll suck if we go to Peoria.

G. Brown made it sound like in that convo on friday night that Mck would take that peoria spot because of their girls leaving us going either to Chat or PA. At least thats what i took out of it

Hmmm...

Wichita will go to Texas, so that means we can't.

I don't think USBC will send Robert Morris too far since they went to Vegas last year, so I think they'll be in Chattanooga or Peoria... McK bowled Peoria last year, so that might mean they go to Chattanooga instead... That scenario would not leave many options for us...except Allentown.biggrin.gif
I see Webber in Chattanooga as well and we could go there with them because of how the rankings work out...

So...I've eliminated Texas and still have the other three on the table.  I really think it's either Chattanooga again for us or Allentown...so that means we'll be in Peoria.  LOL  I have NO idea...interesting call this year!

Not sure why all the love for Allentown?confuse

I'm pulling for Dallas, but I don't see that happening now.
I wasn't privy to Gary's comments, but if true the logistics of going to PA would suck.
I did price out Southwest flights (bags fly freeaww) and they got roundtrip tickets thru Philly for $342.
How many at that price is a mystery.
Then we would have to rent vans and drive 70 miles to Allentown.
Newark, NJ is only about 80 miles away, but SW doesn't fly there yet.

Found a Delta flight into Allentown for $250.
Leave here at 8:45 Thursday, come back 12:20 Monday.

I couldn't find anything that leaves on Friday that gets us there for singles, but we could leave on Sunday at 7:50. the flight goes up to $360

would driving be an option at all?? we discussed it last night and i know most of us girls are ok with driving there even though tis a long ride... and there's love for PA cause it's somewhere different.. plus rocky wants to see the rocky statue in philly and it's pretty close to home for amanda so her family could come watch.

Mens, By ranking

1-Webber International
5- Lindenwood
10- Morehead State
11- Wright State
20- Vincennes
24- Urbana
27- Wisconsin-Milwaukee
28- Florida State
32- Martin Methodist
38- Cumberland
45- Northwestern Ohio
50- Ohio State
51- Florida International
59- Marian
62- Bellarmine
64- Louisville

9 teams in the top 32. This sectional is ripe for an upset. Vincennes had a bad week, but they look like a top 10 team to me.

Yes, any of those 3 teams is very capable and Webber as a 7 seed.  Got some work to do!  Strong sectional on both sides!

I think it's a little weird that McKendree and RoMo Girls are both at Peoria.

That's somewhat surprising, but in the end, there are only 2 teams in peoria ranked in the top 8 and that's always a goal for the USBC Collegiate.
