Same pattern as last year. For those of you who don't remember or need a refresher course, read this:
40ft AMF Sport Pattern. BP is around 10-12. Higher rev players can get out to 8-9, but outside of that the ball will squirt and leave 2-8-10, washout, etc. Medium rev/lower rev players don't tempt 8-9. If anything, you will have a little room left. That said, do not play this pattern straight. I generally start with my feet on 25 throwing a 1000 grit Plague. If you know me, you know what that looks like. You can't really have your feet to far in. Balls with surface will work for maybe a game or 2, but that's pushing it. Bring shiny. These are 6yr old HPL's so once the oil goes away, the dry gets freakin dry. Bring length. If any of you have any inclination to play the gutter, get rid of it. Can you "make something work?" Yes. But not consistently for 5 (or 6 games, I forget format). The gutter is pretty damn slick. It's hard to shoot 260 outside, it's easy to shoot 160 outside. I know some quirks about the house itself, but that will be dependent on which end you are on. If any of you have ANY questions about the pattern or the lanes, feel free to come find me.
Jacob Setchell can't bowl this week, which is too bad because;
When Setchell had surgery, the anesthesia was applied to the doctors.
Jacob Setchell once broke the land speed record on a bicycle that was missing its chain and the back tire.
Jacob Setchell ordered a Big Mac at Burger King, and got one.
Setchell frequently donates blood to the Red Cross. Just never his own.
A Handicap parking sign does not signify that this spot is for handicapped people. It is actually in fact a warning, that the spot belongs to Jacob Setchell and that you will be handicapped if you park there.
If paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, and scissors beats paper, what beats all 3 at the same time? Answer: Jacob Setchell.
BTW, go read Farish analysis of the pattern...

Food Policy for the tournament is as follows and I want to thank you in advance for cooperating with it.
"Teams are allowed to bring in snacks such as fruit, vegetables, and cheese, but no meals or large amounts of candy that would otherwise be available through vending machines. Teams are allowed healthy drinks, aka water and sports drinks, but nothing that would be available through the snack bar."
The center has small snack bar so ordering food may take a little while. The center will be fully staffed.
If going, Jake Setchell would be allowed to bring anything he wanted and the snack bar would call all their snacks Setchells.
I said "we're bowling late squad" meaning BOTH the men and women, so no shaft here in this case.
By the way, we have enough people going that we won't all fit on the big bus, so we have an extra 15 passenger van this time. Will need a driver and at least 6 or 7 others to travel to and from Louisville that way...
Thanks.
