Tournament Updates-Planning

...a review of the tournament schedule for the rest of the semesterNovember 21-22 is the Striking Knights Classic in Louisville, KY.  If you're eligible and able to go, everyone is going to this tournament.

November 27-28 is Team Match Games Thanksgiving weekend in St. Louis.  At this point, we have spots for two men's and two women's teams.

December 5-6 is the Leatherneck Classic in the Quad Cities, NW Illinois.  Only one women's team spot and one men's team spot for sure...possibly two men's teams ultimately.

Looking ahead to next year... You must be enrolled in J-Term in order to bowl the weekend of January 16-17, 2010 (and be academically eligible) in either the Bearcat in Cincinnati or the NAIA Challenge in Chicago.  As I type, I'm not sure about the Blue and Gold the following weekend in South Bend, IN.

phil, whats up with the bearcat and naia challenge tourney? are you saying that we'll have teams going to different places again? dunno if i read that right or not.. and i dont ever remember us bowling the naia challenge tourney before and its not on our schedule either.. just curious as to what that is and whether or not we'll be splitting teams up to different areas again like how we did for GA/IN

The Eagles NAIA Challenge is on our schedule the same weekend as the Bearcat, so yes, we will split squads.  However, it depends on how many bowlers we have available since enrollment in J-term is required.  We have actually gone to the Eagles tourney in chicago before, but then it moved to the same weekend as the bearcat...It also snowed sideways while we were there...

After conferring with Randy, J-term is also required for the Blue & Gold...

Thanks,
Phil
