It depends on what program you are using.  if you are using roxio you can choose advanced features and fit to disc there.  In DVD Shrink you can re-author and just choose the movie itself, leaving out all the features.  You can also adjust the qulity (DVD Shrink does it itself) and that should give you more room.  Good luck
