To those considering classes outside of LU (over the summer for instance)

Not sure if this applies to anyone, but just in case...
Do keep in mind that NAIA eligibility rules require that a student-athlete complete a minimum of 24 hours of course credit in any 12 month period.  This is slightly different than the USBC-Collegiate rule of "continuing progress" that requires 24 hours completed before you bowl your 2nd year, 48 before your 3rd year and 72 before your 4th year...

To all advisors:

Please be reminded of the need to complete prior approval forms if a student wishes to take a class at another college/university after starting at LU as either an undergraduate or graduate.

A student at Lindenwood who wishes to take courses at another college or university while pursuing a degree at Lindenwood must first obtain permission for the transfer of these courses from the academic advisor, the dean of the school in which that course resides, and the registrar. A Prior Approval Form may be obtained from the Registrars Office. Students may be allowed to take courses from other schools during terms in which the requested course is not offered at Lindenwood.

Credits accepted in transfer do not affect the students grade point average at Lindenwood University unless the student is seeking teacher certification. In those cases, the student must transfer the actual grade point average for purpose of state licensure.
