ok sweet we are going to vegas...but are we gonna do our job out there is the question. here is a couple quotes from people that have commented about our sectional
------------------------ Las Vegas, NV Winner: McKendree Underdog(s): North Texas / Martin Methodist / ND State Go Home Sad: Lindenwood - with the loss of their star anchor, the wheels seemed to really fall off the 'B'us at Indianapolis which may result in some shaky ground beneath the feet of this squad. Though, the weaker section may prove to fall in their favor, they will need to regroup and come out firing to reset the mood for Lindenwood to blast into Nationals.
Top 4: McKendree / UNLV / Arizona State / Lindenwood
---------------------- Las Vegas
Mckendree U Lindenwood Questionable without a couple of their guys UNLV North Texas They did very well in vegas over xmas

so pretty much for the first time since ive been here...we are being completly written off. What does this mean to me? well to me it shows we bowled so poorly this past weekend we shocked the college bowling world. It means we have a laundry list of things to work on. IT MEANS WE HAVE TO EITHER LEARN TO WIN AS A TEAM OR COME IN 25TH AS INDIVIDUALS AGAIN. and finally to me it means that this rodeo called college bowling can end for me in vegas, and you better god damn believe that my blood, sweat, and tears is getting poured out so that doesnt happen. Do we have 7 more mens bowlers that are willing to do the same?

I agree with Council here, you guys need to learn to bowl as a team and stop hatin on each other during bowling and even outside of bowling because it does effect the team. In practice stop ****ing around with pot games, it's fun but you can do it on your own time you're there to practice as a team or on your own game. If you go there and notice your only throwing balls not working on anything specific you are just wasting your time and the people in line behind you working on their game. The baker may help but what really helps is spare practice, you do need to strike also but in the end baker comes down to making spares on tough shots. Also, work on playing the same part of the lane and breaking down the pair you start on its always good to get a huge jump on your competition. I wish I could be there unfortunately **** happens but do work, and do good in Vegas I'll see you guys in Rockford.
wow...wish i woulda read this earlier...i believe thats one of the best posts ive ever read on this forum...I think if tommy was here he'd be proud of what we have done this week...now we just gotta keep on this track and keep working hard...what does everyone else think?

I read this when he posted it and I thought it was a very good post... Even though a couple of us have "messed up" already with these early practices, I think our chemistry is pretty good... Even with the little games and exercises we are doing in our practices. We might show frustration at times, but we are all in this for the long haul and none of us plan on anything less than a ring... I think it takes a real person to say what Tommy did above after all of his situations... I can't wait to see you in Rockford rooting us on man...

the team practices that we have had this week have been some of the most successful and important practices this program has has since i have been here. The things we have been doing will make us better and will prepare us better for nationals. One thing i think that we should think about looking into is equipment match ups for u damn righthanders lol. Like go over all the equipment and try to match each other up for certain situations and i think it will make transitions easier. hope that makes sense lol
