For those that either can't make the earlier one, who just can't get enough late night bowling, Really need a dose of my wisdom or have no life, i am sticking around after league so you can bowl if you want. No pressure here, can't even guarantee that there will be a fresh shot, but i am feeling unimportant so i felt the need to do this.
As I was stupid enough to join a Thursday night league in Cape over December break, I will not be able to attend due to having to drive down there to deal with teammates who can not grasp the concept of spare making or at least they refuse to fully understand its importance.
Also one teammate makes one bad shot and he is down on himself for the rest of the night and another who could be the best bowler on the team if he would control his temper. Another seems to not give a damn about winning when the team has an outside chance to do so.
On top of it all, I get to deal with a manager who swears left and right that he never changes the shot that is set out on the lanes. This is his response to anyone who mentions that the shot changed (which is not a bad thing in my eyes)...."I didn't change it, I just took the oil down an extra foot (or changed the volume or shortened the pattern)"
Aaaah....a lovely night. Oh yeah then drive back right afterwards so I can get to my 8:00 business law class.
I honestly did think I was smarter than this......
The practice I'm having this (Thursday) afternoon for the girls is at Brunswick-Chesterfield (Four Seasons)...230p-430p... Please pass the word to the girls' Sectional roster... Take highway 270 South to Olive Road and turn right. After a couple miles or so, you'll cross Woods Mill Road (highway 141). The center is on the left at the next light. It's about 15-20 minutes from St. Charles Lanes.
If you'd like to practice with Hanke tonight as well, that's cool! I have no problem with someone practicing!
I'll probably be sipping a green beer and watching March Madness!
