Dorms for Matchgames

The school has informed me that the dorms will be closed over Thanksgiving.  Anyone bowling has to find their own place to stay during Matchgames.  If this is a problem and you can't stay or bowl please let me or Phil know immediately.

Randy, I know they said that last year, but I remember filling out a sheet and turing it in saying that I had to stay on campus over break due to bowling. Can't we just do that again?

According to the school, no. They are putting their foot down this year.
See if you can't find a place to stay, then maybe we can try it again.

I filled out a form to stay... you can print them out from the website... only thing is, they had to be turned in by yesterday...

I remember the school putting their foot down on that every year since 03. If you whine to michelle giessman long enough....and maybe slip her an extra pork roast for her daily 5 hour lunch period you'll be good.

we offer cable tv, wireless internet, continental breakfast (as long as you bring the food), warm pillows and blankets (you might have to bring those too). No pets allowed (unless you got 1K to pay off the RD).

The schools point it that you can't use the tournament as the reason you are staying. Many of you live far away and its cost prohibitive to go home. That is a perfect example of a reason why to stay on campus.

Just don't say it's because of the tournament.

i emailed michelle yesterday before finding this news out and i told her i had a bowling tourney, that i'm from IL, how i have no car here and have no family coming up to see me so i have to stay in the dorm.. but she hasen't responded to me yet.. if she ends up telling me no, i dunno what i'm gonna do... i'm assuming campus houses have to be closed as well?

i went up to see michelle giessman and she said that she would like all the bowlers to still fill out a thanksgiving form to stay here. so yea prolly get on that

I don't see why they make such a big deal of it... It's only an extra 2 days added to a normal weekend... not like it's christmas break

wait till easter.  Since it doesn't coincicde with spring break, they give you good friday off.  And close the dorms and make everyone move out.  For a 3 day weekend.
