Well Hankey has it in VHS i think and I got it on the lappy. So I'm sure someone can hook you up. It is worth watching in my opinion.

Hey Jes-


I managed to watch ND in Omaha Saturday night off the laptop.  I wasn't all that impressed, so if you get the whole bus to watch it on the way to Indy, I need to make sure I'm not right under a speaker so I can take a nap!  As a comparison, Super Troopers is several notches higher on the comedy scale in my opinion...I think I'd even watch Rocky Horror sober before enduring ND again...

the dude who played Napolean only got paid $1,000 upon completion of the movie.

since then, the movie has grossed almost 10x over of what it made in the theaters through rentals.

you want to talk about cult following? even if youre not a fan of the movie....id say thats pretty impressive. It also a 7.3 (out of 10) rating on IMDB.COM ....anything above a 5 on the site is like amazing.

so i say "SWEEEET" to Napolean Dynamite. I wouldnt exactly call it the funniest movie ever, and it might not be in my top 10 comedies ever ...but this definitely holds its ground. If you like random, sarcastic, dry humor...youll probably dig this. If you have a really dorky sense of humor, youll like it. If you want "Ace Ventura" humor....you wont like it.

I for one am a well rounded comedy fan...ahem...a happen to like those Jim Carrey movies and also the pointless random humor that has made me laugh on several occasions. Not only from watching the movie but the random ass quotes that only a select individuals know about.

I didn't look like John Cryer in the first place!


Perhaps everyone talked up ND too much before I saw it.  I went in with high expectations... The part at the end was pretty good, though...
