Hi everyone,

The annual team organizational meetings will be Monday, August 27.  There are two opportunities, but you only need to attend one of the two, either at 3:45 p.m. or at 6:30 p.m.  Both meeting opportunities will be in Room 3020 Evans Commons (top floor down the hall to the right).

Tryouts are scheduled for: September 1-3 and September 8-9.
Start Times for each day Labor Day weekend and Sunday, September 9 will be 11 am practice, with 10:30 am check-in.
Start time for Saturday, September 8 will be 2:15 pm practice, with 1:45 pm check-in.  

Also, Randy has decided to raise the tryout fee to $60 each.  The shirt fee for anyone needing the Giant Lion jersey will still be $50.  Thank you.

Tentative Schedule (Here's what it's looking like for 2018-19)   Thoughts?

October 6-7:  Midwest Collegiate in Wauwatosa, WI   (Tier 1)  One men's and one women's team

October 13-14:  Orange & Black in Dayton, OH   (Tier 2)  Three men's and three women's teams

October 20-21:  Midstates in Wichita, KS  (Tier 1)  Requested three each, but new status probably means it fills up and we don't get that many.

October 27-28:  Lions Classic at home  (Tier 2)  Three men's teams and three women's teams.  (Based on advance registrations so far, looks like at least 22 men's and 22 women's teams will attend)

November 3-4:  OFF

November 10-11:  Leatherneck Classic in Davenport, IA  (Tier 2)   Looks like we will have four centers, so it looks like we're going to this event.  

November 24-25:  Team Match Games in Fairview Heights, IL  (Tier 1)  One men's and one women's team

2019
January 12-13:  Eagles Baker Challenge in Chicago (Addison), IL  (Tier 2)  Three men's and three women's teams

January 19-20:  Kegel Collegiate in Chicago (Addison), IL  (Tier 1)   Based on entries last year, expect only one men's and one women's team

January 26-27:  MSC Collegiate Classic in Cincinnati, OH  (Tier 2)  Three men's and three women's teams

February 2-3:  McKendree Baker Challenge in Fairview Hts/Belleville, IL  (Tier 2)  Hoping three men's and three women's teams

February 9-10:  OFF

February 16-17:  Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, IN  (tier 1)   One men's and one women's team

February 21 or 28:  Mid-America Singles in Warrensburg, MO   Probably eight girls max

March 8:  Singles Qualifier
March 9-10:  Sectionals

April 15-20:  ISC and ITC at Poelking Lanes South in Dayton, OH (if we advance)
