PATTERN INFO FOR HOOSIER

 In keeping with the silliness of the USBC powers-that-be, the patterns will not be shown;

Here is the length and volume info.

OVERALL INFORMATION:
BOWLING CENTER: Western Bowl (Royal Pin Leisure Centers)
LANE SURFACE: Brunswick Pro-Anvilane (Generation 1, Installed 2004)
PINS: Brunswick Max (Installed 2013)
LANE MACHINES: Kegel FLEX (2 Machines)
TRANSFER SYSTEM: Duo
CONDITIONER: Kegel Ice
CLEANER: Kegel Defense-C

Couple of things here; the surface is 10 years old, doesn't mean much except it won't be as slick as nationals.  2013, two year old pins are old and Brunswick pins suck, as does Ice oil.

FRIDAY NIGHT ELIMINATOR PATTERN (2 GAMES):
CONDITIONER: Kegel Ice
LENGTH: 40 Feet
DROP BRUSH: 35 Feet
RATIO: 1.0 (Left) / 1.0 (Right)
VOLUME: 27.25 ML
CLEANING: Lanes will be single cleaned prior to competition

US Open, the volume is medium.

SATURDAY QUALIFYING PATTERN (6 GAMES):
CONDITIONER: Kegel Ice
MENS VOLUME: 29.93 ML / WOMENS VOLUME: 24.20 ML
MENS LENGTH: 44 Feet / WOMENS LENGTH: 42 Feet
MENS DROP BRUSH: 40 Feet / WOMENS DROP BRUSH: 38 Feet
MENS RATIO: (1.54/1.59) / WOMENS RATIO (1.90/2.10)
CLEANING: Lanes will be double cleaned prior to mens squad / single cleaned for women

Long, fairly high volume.  Rule of 31 puts the ball exiting the pattern at 13, but Nick is tricking.  He likes putting out a gutter shot because make the last 3 boards dry and it won't reflect that in the ratio readings.  We got to try a couple 1-2 just to see whats out there.  If not we burn the track and keep moving in.

SUNDAY QUALIFYING PATTERN (3 GAMES):
CONDITIONER: Kegel Ice
MENS VOLUME: 28.81 ML / WOMENS VOLUME: 24.48 ML
MENS LENGTH: 36 Feet / WOMENS LENGTH: 38 Feet
MENS DROP BRUSH: 34 Feet / WOMENS DROP BRUSH: 36 Feet
MENS RATIO: (1.20/1.29) / WOMENS RATIO (1.82/1.82)
CLEANING: Lanes will be double cleaned prior to mens squad / single cleaned for women

Short, but again Nick is tricky.  That's a lot of oil for a 36" pattern.  I would be surprised if outside 5 played.  Remember, Nationals was a 36 foot pattern.

SUNDAY MATCH PLAY PATTERN (BAKER):
CONDITIONER: Kegel Ice
VOLUME (BOTH): 25.25 ML
LENGTH (BOTH): 41 Feet
DROP BRUSH (BOTH): 32 Feet
RATIO: 1.34 (Left) / 1.34 (Right)
CLEANING: Lanes will be single cleaned

Medium pattern where Nick could do anything.  When (not if) we get to matchplay, we burn and watch the opposing team.  We set the lanes up to where we play best.
