No pacers for the last two blocks of tryouts!

I'm banning pacers for this Sunday and next Saturday.  Regardless of what some make think, my reasons are simple;

1) I have major time restraints.  The new Rockers league this Sunday and our No-tap next Saturday.  More bowlers slow us down.  The Last thing I want to happen is to have a new league and what could be our biggest no-tap of the year to be late by a slow paced tryout.

2) We have found that since we now have 6 on a pair, the lanes brake down is accelerated.  When we started years ago, we had 4 on a pair, so we designed patterns to last 8 games.  Today these patterns get extremely burnt and difficult.  We don't mind hard, but when they transition to something they're not close to starting as, it alters our goal.  That is to have the best 25 men and women bowlers come out of our tryouts.  By limiting the bowlers to eligible students on the roster, we remove some of the wear and tear on the patterns.

Next year we can try maybe 6 game blocks with more sets.  Something that will allow pacers to bowl again, but for the rest of this tryouts, only eligible students can bowl.
