J-Term Exemption for Team USA Trials in January

In an effort to provide flexibility for our players that wish to bowl the Team USA Trials in January, if the event continues to fall during a week of J-Term, those academically eligible and on the current travel roster that bowl Team Trials will NOT have to take a J-Term class in order to also be eligible to bowl the collegiate events that fall during J-Term.  In order to qualify for this exemption, your name must show up in the final Team USA Trials standings for the week and you must notify me in writing before the end of the fall semester.

As a reminder, the Saturday and Sunday before the Monday that begins the spring semester is generally considered part of the spring semester, so EVERYONE academically eligible, on the current travel roster, and enrolled full time in the spring semester would be able to bowl any tournament that we schedule on the weekend just prior to the start of the spring semester.

J-term tournaments are those that fall on weekends from just before J-term begins through the Saturday and Sunday before the final week of J-term.

Phil

With the elimination of J-term moving forward, if Team Trials falls during the beginning of the spring semester, someone wanting to miss class to bowl it would just need to complete an "Excused Absence for Non Lindenwood Event" form, but it would need to be completed BEFORE heading home after the fall semester since the form requires a signature from each of your spring semester professors.

Thanks
